AUCTION PREVIEWS

AUCTION 4 STATUS UPDATE

As some readers of this will know, I gave up on my printer and moved the job elsewhere because of a steady stream of delays and excuses. I am now working hard with the new printer to make sure the catalogue is delivered as soon as possible.

Printed catalogues (and these are excellent for future general reference) will be available for sale from this website at £7.50 (UK); £11.00 (Europe airmail) and £15.00 (Rest of World airmail). You'll also be able to download a scanned PDF version yourself (FREE!) from this site.

If you want to receive a personal notification when the catalogue is available, please enter your e-mail below, complete the security check and hit "Send". If you have already booked an e-mail notification, I will have logged it and you need not book again.

The contents of the Previews here will also be re-arranged to match the various Section headings in the catalogue to help cross-referencing.

There will be over 1500 lots, so everyone interested in Jaguar automobilia should be able to find something of interest. As usual, the items will range over the full life-span of the Company and its products from Swallow in the 1930s right up to date.

Lots will include brochures, books, posters, paintings, press packs, driver handbooks, videos and manuals; as well as hardware like badges, mascots. tools, instruments and lamps. There will also be a couple of experimental Sections, one devoted to Daimler and Lanchester lots and one to non-Jaguar motoring odds and ends.

I have now put up seven galleries of the more interesting lots. I shall not be photographing every lot or I shall never finish. Please note that although these are unretouched scans of original photographs, the vagaries of computer software mean we cannot guarantee an exact colour match. Needless to say, if you would like any additional information on any lot that is not illustrated, you know you only have to e-mail me.

For the first time, an on-line copy of the full catalogue will be available on this website as a PDF during the auction period once the printed catalogue itself has been produced. You will be able to download it as a PDF file so that you can browse it at your leisure.

But please do note that it will be an on-line catalogue, not an on-line auction. E-Bay we ain't! You will be able to submit a secure bid form via this site, fax or post your bids to us. We shall then log your bids as they roll in, work out the winners on closure day and then start invoicing and despatch.

If you wish to order a printed catalogue to be sent to you as soon as available (cost varies with location), you can do so via this secure link

If you have not taken part in a postal auction [silent auction in North America] before, I do strongly advise you to have a look at our Guidance and Conditions of Business beforehand - and certainly before you start bidding. As always, if you have any queries on the procedures, just e-mail me.

Keep an eye on these pages for new Preview Galleries.
